Zender kit arrived today. Not bad construction, Review follows....
Ordered the zender kit 3 weeks ago. Since this kit is made to fit on the existing
lowers, it needs to be painted to match the lowers. The problem is there really is not a paint code for the lowers because they are plastic all the way through. Only the small rear spoiler needs to be painted the body color. Heading off to the Audi dealer this morning to see who does their body work. I ordered the front "winglet" spoilers, the rear valance, two front scoops, and the small spoiler. They are all made from a flexible black plastic, not fiberglass. Will take photos once it is installed. My Dolphin already has the BBS RX's and 245/45/17 Azenis tires that grip unlike any other street tire I have driven. The goal is to make the car unique and a bit different than the standard "RS4" look-alike kits that so many people order. I also ordered the slip over exhaust extensions that will look good with the rear valance since it tends to cover up the existing system. |
Ah - so you're keeping the kit grey to match lowers, instead of painting lowers/kit body color?
|
Yes, I like the slight contrast on the Dolphin, any other color I might have painted.
