'02 to and '06 or '07
I currently have a 2002 A4 1.8T @ 114,000 miles. Currently its costing me very little as the loan is paid off and repairs are minimal (coil pack repairs happened a few times from 60k-80k miles). I did the belt at 65k and that time is approaching again. The value of it is decreasing to about $4000 trade-in.
I've been eying '06 and '07 S-Line models, especially with navigation and BOSE options w/ about 20k-40k miles. They seemed to be priced at $18,000-$25,000 depending on if its Audi-Certified. I'm definitely thinking about getting it Audi-Certified as my '02 costly repairs were all covered.
Watcha guys think? Go for a new one and end up making payments again, keep the '02 and do the timing belt again, or keep the '02 and dont touch the belt until it dies?
