Default 18in wheel specs

hi all, just became proud owner of a 2008 2.0l A4 Avant and am looking (already) to upgrade the 17in wheels included in the prem. pkg to a set of 18 inchers. I have a few different size infos from different sources so can anyone please confirm that I'll need the following - 8 x 18 rims w/ 43 or 45 offset, 245/40/18 tires.
ALSO - does anyone have 19 inchers on this car, if so any pictures??
One last question - best place to buy from? am in michigan.
thanks

Default What are you looking for? OEM wheels?

In that case yes, the wheels would be 18x8 w/ a 43 or 45 offset. You should use 235/40/18 tires. If you go aftermarket, most wheels will be et35, and either 18x8 or 18x8.5. And yes, people run 19" wheels on the car, scan through some people sigs and you'll find some pictures

Default What is your ground to fender height?

I'm going to be installing coilovers and 19"s but I have no idea where I want them to drop it to.

Default I'm at 25.25" front and 25" rear.

The front tire is exactly at the fender, and in the rear 1/4" of the tire is tucked (because the rear wheel arch is about 1/4" lower than the front on the Avant).
I'd say that's as low as you'd ever want to be. If the roads in your area aren't almost perfect, I'd set it 1/2" higher all around.

This picture of my rear wheel was taken a few hours after my suspension was put on, but since it settled a bit in a week or so, it actually ended up at least 1/4" lower than the pic...
