2.0 T Oil Usage
I have 21,000 miles on my 07 A4 Cab. I seem to be using about a quart of oil every 7-8,000 miles. The warning light came on today, I checked the dipstick and it was a qt low. This has happened once before... This sure seems to be unusual for such a low mileage vehicle.
I have an .03 Chev, with 86,000 on it and it doesn't use a drop between changes.
At least Audi will get this one back in 12 months when the lease runs out and I won't have to deal with the problem long term...

Yeah, it actually is and the service tech told me what the 'acceptable' level of used oil was per 5k miles and I was pretty shocked. I think it's a quart in 5k miles is considered within tolerance which is crazy that Audi considers that accepted.

Very common problem on ALL turbo vehicles, one of the few cons to the benefits of a turbocharged system.
You are also not advised to run over 5k miles on oils in turbo vehicles because the oil gets filthy much faster than N/A cars. My 07 H3 averages 12k miles before the oil indicator says its about time to change it, and it doesnt burn a drop of oil, my turbo Honda has an engine I rebuilt & it consumes a little under a quart every 5k miles with only 20k on the odometer.

I change my oil every 5k miles, but even in that distance I noticed some oil consumption (1/2 quart or less) which as others have pointed out has been considered normal by Audi. Porsche also claims such oil consumption is normal in there cars too. It may be annoying, but as long as it does not get worse and it remains within the OEM tolerance, I would not be concerned.

1/2 quart in 5K
I'm seeing about 0.5 Quart in 5K miles, seems like this is par for the course. Mobil 1 0W-40 for now, maybe I'll change to something else and see if anything changes.
