2006 A4 6 speed MT quattro
gentleman- a question- (I jumped over from A6 forums/member there) I have a 06 that the cam chain snapped and am looking to sell it- that being said, what do you think is a fair price for it? the car is straight and in good condition, has relatively new Continental all season tires, and up to the chain snapping was a daily driver- (150 miles a day) I do not have the time to fix it, and cannot find a complete head for it so I am looking to sell- I have another A4 and an A6 so wife says it has to go!
Car is located in Leigh Valley Pennsylvania at my home and would have to be towed so keep that in the estimate. also has 260K on her- but I assure you it has been maintained- religiously! Any direction on price would be appreciated!
I have pictures available but do not have them at this writing.

I would check the market for the same car and then subtract the engine cost. Either a used engine cost, or the cost of the head with labour, which is pretty much around the same.
How did the chain break anyway?
