Default 2006 A4 Seat Belt Warning Chime Not Work

Hi All

The seat belt warning chimes and all similar warning indicators have ceased to work on a 2006 A4. All fuses are good and I can find nothing on the internet relating to this problem. I would very much like any information available before the soaking from local Audi dealer for the fix.

Thanks

I would be absolutely thrilled if my seatbelt chimes stopped working. Most stupid thing in the world that I must have my seatbelt fastened while sitting in my car with the radio on and the engine off. Even if my wife is waiting in the car (passenger seat) and I'm not in the driver's seat, it chimes every 30 seconds or so. HELLO! I'm not going anywhere obviously.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but it annoys the Hell out of me.

I turned my A4 B7 seat belt chimes off by recoding Instruments Module 17 Seat Belt Chime by setting the second to last right-most digit from a 2 to a zero. Annoyed the hell out of me until I did that. Find someone with VCDS (VagCom) and get right on it!
