2008 Audi a4 b7 drl's & tail lights both on same time!
Hello audi a4 b7 lovers lol
Had a question for you guys, i have a 2008 audi a4 and i was wondering if anybody has done this to your audi. I have upgraded led DRL (day time running lights) an they are super bright, i wanted to know if i am able to keep my tail lights with my drl's on both at the same time? I think this will be cool because you can ride "ghost mode" at night time have both on the outside but only see your needles moving on you dash on the inside. Btw i have a hud so i can see my speed at all times. If anybody has any information that would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks! 🙃

C11,xxx?x: Headlights
C12,0 = Halogen Headlights w/o Daytime Running Lights (PR-8Q0/8Q1+8K0/8K7)
C13,1 = Halogen Headlights with Daytime Running Lights (PR-8Q0/8Q1+8K1/8K3/9C6/9C7)
C14,2 = Bi-Xenon Headlights with Daytime Running Lights (PR-8Q3/8Q5+8K9/8K4)
C15,3 = Bi-Xenon Headlights w/o Daytime Running Lights (PR-8Q3/8Q5+8K0/8K7)
C16,4 = Bi-Xenon Headlights with Daytime Running/Tail/License Plate Lights (PR-8Q3/8Q5+8K1/8K3)
This coding option exits if you have Bi-Xenon so you might be able to have DRL with Tail Lights on the B7. I know for the B6 here in Canada, the tail lights are always on when the DRL are.
On the flip side, no matter how bright you think your DRL's are, they don't generally provide a focused beam onto the road, so I wouldn't think it's wise to be driving at night with only DRL's on. The purpose of DRL's is for others to see you, not for you to see other things.
