Something was funky on the sticker. There was a $300 XM option. I don't think it had Bose either. Is Audi now doing XM/Sirius separately?

I have a 05.5 2.0TQ.

I have the standard SymphonyII and had the option of getting either SAT for $300.

I bought my car off the lot and it didn't have the SAT receiver installed. At the time I wasn't sure I wanted SAT, so I didn't bother having them add it.

I probably will add it soon, though.

Cool. However, I hadn't seen it as a separate factory option on the sticker. Always been a dealer installed thing, right?

It was a separate factory option but the dealer can always install it as well.

I don't see SAT radio listed as a separate option for Symphony II anymore (at least not on the 2.0. I didn't check the 3.2).

It was listed as a separate available option for 05.

However, all A4s are prewired for SAT radio and I can't imagine that they've changed the Symphony II at all, so you should be able to order the Audi SAT receiver of your choice for about $300 and just plug it in the recepticle in the trunk.

Should work fine.
