How about the 3.2 A4? The whole lower grill has a cover.
Unlike the 2.0 where only half is closed, because of the air that goes up to the intercooler. Has anyone tried popping those plastic covers off?

I'll try messing with one this weekend...
I know the interior plastic/rubber beauty pieces that are around the foglight area of the 2.0t pull right off exposing the plastic underneath (not talking about the actual center foglight grill piece that is molded into the bumper). It is more of a rubbery compound than I would have thought. cheers! Mike

I tried, but not very hard
They look like they have little slots in them, I pulled out a flathead but I didn't poke or pull too hard as I was afraid I would break something or chip/crack the paint. I wouldn't mind replacing the solid black pieces with some sort of mesh, just for cosmetic reasons.
