A4 CVT Transmission Vibration

A4 CVT Transmission Vibration
Our 2006 2T CVT has a vibration at 35kph through 30kph everytime slowing down from speed.
Two dealers said this is normal and some are worse than ours. Can this be right?
On a few occassions similar vibration can be felt accelerating all the way up to highway speeds. It happens rarely but is unsettling.
We are afraid once the warranty expires we will be faced with a large bill to repair this.
Other CVT owners -- Help!

umm.. I don't recall experiencing that. maybe your streets aren't as aweful as mine.
Honestly, the only time I would say I feel a vibration/shudder is when coming to a halt, or upon startup from a stop. However, it isn't consistent, and it only happens occassionally. I had the same thing occur with my traditional automatic system on the previous generation A4, hence I'm really not concerned about it. I'm at 76,000 miles... what's that.. 121,000km?
