About ECU upgrade...
I am curious....say Audi releases software upgrade that needs to be flashed at your dealer during your next oil change.
Wouldn't that earase the $500 custom upgrade you just got from, say, APR?
I sure would hate to have paid all that money and enjoy the improvements for onlu 5,000miles...

When you receive your upgrade from the dealership, you just go back to your APR installer who flashes back the APR software.
APR has your VIN number in their database. The flash itself then is not charged by APR.

What about the APR Security Lockout option?
Let's say that before you bring the car in, you switch to "stock" and activated the optional APR Security Lockout. Wouldn't this allow the ECU to retain the APR software program if the dealer re-flashed and overwrote the "stock" program?
