There isn't a turbocharger setup for the 3.2 V6 and probably never will be. However, the old 2.8V6 in the B5 paltform could be modded with a PES supercharger so maybe someone will develop a kit for the 3.2 V6 in the B7? As far as modifications go, you're pretty limited with the V6 except for an exhaust, intake (YMMV) and possibly engine management reprogramming...

HTH,

Nick

HTH,

Nick
Some of the mechs at my local vw/audi tuner treid to get a turbo on the old 3.0 and they blew it up like a brick of C4. evidently withoiut signigicnatly improved internals those sixes ain't real happy on the boost. it blew the dyno, and these guys are not shade-tree ham and eggers. they do all the porsche/Audi/VW work for the non-posers in KC. but, just my two cents, i can;t say thats a definitive conclusion.

Has anyone tried this? I'm tempted, when my warranty's up (in a few more years). If only to better hear that beautiful V6...

you can also drive around with the trunk open and the back seats folded down, the 3.2 sounds very nice like that, just do a lot of home depot runs to pick up 2/4s and your sound problem should be solved.

I have the Evo v-flow intake on my 2007 3.2 .

The car definitely sound better at higher revs with the intake installed and feels slightly quicker, but unlike the v-flow I had on my Passat V6 you only hear the sound of the intake (and feel it) kick in at 4100 RPMs whereas with my Passat all you had to do was floor it at any RPM and you'd hear the throatiness. I guess it has to do with the FSI technology on the 3.2 but I'm not sure.

Also, when I installed it the fresh air feed extender from the front of the car keeps falling off because the Evo heat shield is in the way. Once I try to close the hood it falls off.

On a cool day the area where the filter is placed actually stays cool and is fed cool air but on a hot *** day you do get major heat soak from the engine bay.

Overall I like it, but for 300 bucks I'm not sure it's worth it.
