Last December, after owning four different Saabs (900, 9000, and two 9-5s), I decided to jump ship and buy an '06 A4. This has to be one of the single best automotive decisions I have ever made! Just curious as to whether any other former Saab owners are on this site, and why they jumped ship. For me, I was looking for a vehicle that came with a lot fewer compromises than are now part of all Saabs. I test drove an A4 and never looked back- just an entirely different class of car. I picked up a silver '06 with the premium pack, XM radio, wood interior and 6-speed manual.

I used to hang out at Saabnet a lot and was pleased to discover Audi World. This is a great bb with great people on it, and it is making my A4 ownership even more of a pleasure. Just wanted to pass that info along!

Was one of my favorite cars and my first Turbo.
Absolutely loved it. The clutch at the front of the engine was interesting, loved the ease with which you could crank the boost up.

I always wanted an SPG, but eventually I moved to Volvo and finally to Audi about 7 years ago.

I'm totally hooked on Audi's now.

I was really pissed off when GM bought them and altered a very interesting power train.
