One of the many things I hate about AoA is that they took away the option of memory seats on the 2.0t A4. I know this is a minor thing, but it's something I find foolish that the competition would offer this and Audi won't.

Provided I can get my hands on the hardware, is there any way to retrofit a 2.0T to have the memory seats? Is it a ECU programming thing or just a hardware/wiring change?

Anyone have the knowledge to answer this question? Thanks.

I share your frustration. I'm currently looking into what it will take to put the DIS (Driver Information System) trip computer back in since I didn't have the chance to purchase the tech package. I can't believe they didn't put the DIS as standard on all B7's!

Luckly I think the DIS won't be too bad. Early reports show it is nothing more than changing the wiper stalk, adding a wire to ground the washer fluid sensor, and then just an VAG-COM reprogram.

I would LOVE to add the memory seats as well! Keep us posted if you find out how to do it. Check with the guys over at tyresmoke.net. They seem to be ahead of the curve with regards to retrofitting stuff. I just found this posting about a guy trying to retrofit memory seats on the passenger side for his S8 (poor guy, no memory seats for his passengers... grin.)

I've been doing a bit of drive sharing recently that the lack of seat memory is quite annoying.
