Default Anyone fit OEM nav in a non nav car?

I can get a nicely optioned 05.5 super cheap. Im talking 4500 under MSRP. The car is the exact color that I want, with all the options except Nav. Are any sponsored dealers selling the OEM nav units? Can they be fitted?

Thanks!

Default Audi dealer won't retrofit OEM nav

because there is no OEM kit they could use. Besides that it's a 30 minutes job in most cars with a Symphony II.

Default i wish i did get nav

when i bought my 05.5 i didnt get the NAV option...but now I kinda wish i did, only I still don't want to spend the 1500 it would cost to purchase it. that just seems like a waste to me. maybe if it was under 1,000 i would do it now. is the general opinion that it is worth the money?

I have done it. I ve put Nav+ which I ve got from navplus.us. Very easy to do 15-20 min to do. Originally i was reluctant since i wanted a portable system-now, no regrets this system is great! Even audio is better than Symphony II. I ve managed to link it to iPod with icelink.

No, no BOSE (but there is a harness that supports it)
Total cost was $2000.00 with all wires dvd's etc.
Which really paid for itself by me not being lost so far. No vag was necessary. I belive that the costs came down now.
