Anyone self install Stasis Exhaust on 2.0T QM?
I'm about to buy the beautiful Stasis exhaust for my B7 2.0T QM and I'm thinking about installing it myself. I checked out where the downpipe connects to the catalyst and wonder how anyone with basic tools can get a wrench on it. My car only has 9000 miles, so I don't think the bolts will be too rusted. Does anybody have any experience and/or advice to offer? Should I just pay someone to install it?

just to be safe soak all the bolts a day or so before so you dont have any issues...
i have heard alot of people say that with out a lift or a really high jack that it is tough to get the down pipe out... dont know for a fact though.

This is a project where more room to work makes the job much easier. The factory system unbolts and comes off with hand tools, but jackstands just do not give you adequate clearance. Its doable yourself, but save your time and back and have a shop put it on.
