Anyone with technical knowledge on the new 3.2L and 3.6L V6 engines?
I would like to know the differences between the older v6 engines and the new ones. The 2.7L, and 2.8L block design, compared to the 3.2, and 3.6.
1. Are both blocks the same outer dimensions?
2. Are they aluminum or iron?
3. Does the same valvetrain bolt up, or is it totally different bore spacing?

Few things
The 3.2L FSI is a real V6 and the 3.6L FSI is a VR6, so those are totally different. I know that the 3.2 is aluminum and think that the 3.6 is as well, but am not sure.
