APR chip really that worth it?
 

i've been waiting forever to get my car chipped by a local APR dealer but i keep getting it put off... i know everyone says convenience is the main factor on how far i go to get my car chipped and i live 10 minutes from AWE tuning and 10 minutes away from a local APR dealer so it doesn't quite make a difference where i go... my question is... is it really worth it to go with APR over AWE? i really like the cruise control stalk program switching with APR which is why i initially want to go with them but if its going to take forever for them to actually come around to chipping my car then i might just take it to AWE. opinions anyone?

honestly, my B6 was chipped w/ GIAC and I loved it. If I chip my B7, i'll go GIAC again
 

I'd go with whichever shop you prefer (assuming you have a preference). For me, the choice is easy since I have experience w/ GIAC, and my GIAC tuner is closer than the nearest APR tuner. Also, i've got the chipswitch device so the convenience of the Cruise stalk is not that much for me. Sorry if i'm not much help, but I think you're fine with whoever you go with, so long as you stick to the reputable names (APR, GIAC, REVO, etc.)

well the guy whos going to chip my car is transitioning from one shop to another so apparently APR hasn't activated his login yet... he was going to do it today with his old account but the guys who run the shop he used to work at left early without telling him.

Well if the CC stalk issue is appealing to you, then you might as well wait and get what you want.

love mine (APR) and got it done in an hour.
 

Don't know much about AWE or Revo but I'm sure they're fine too.
