APR ECU question
Hey guys, I'm looking into getting the APR 93 octane ECU upgrade for my stock 2007 A4 2.0T. According to APR it boosts the hp to 241. I'm a little hesitant to do the 93 upgrade and was thinking about just doing the 91 octane upgrade that raises it to 231 hp. What do you guys think? Is the 93 upgrade safe on a stock car? That is a good amount of hp that they are adding to the engine. I don't want to wear down or ruin my engine.
A friend of mine who knows a decent amount about cars said it should be fine, but another guy who works at a mechanic shop said he would recommend getting a new intake before I do the ECU tune. Any suggestions? Does anyone here have the 93 ECU upgrade on a stock car? Is it running okay?
