Default AWE Exhaust vs. APR Exhaust

I just placed a preorder on the new AWE exhaust system, and was wondering if any of you tiptronic guys have picked up their exhaust yet or if anyone has the the APR exhaust? AWE told me the exhaust wont be released until early January, while the APR system is available right now. I want an exhaust sytem that is going to have a nice deep growl, yet not to loud or intrusive.

Default Re: AWE Exhaust vs. APR Exhaust

dont know personally, but it has been said that APR is more quiet than AWE. Also been said that Milltek is the way to go for a nice sound.

Hopefully people with more experience with these exhausts will chim in.

Is the APR ready even for tip?

Default B7 systems are mellow any way you cut it. The more restrictive cats on the B7 make the B7 systems

about 20% quieter than the B6 systems.

Tip exhausts for B7 are in stock and shipping.

B7 manual exhausts are shipping this week.

Default APR Exhaust for the tip...

I have ordered the exhaust for my car from APR but it won't be able to get installed until next week. I'll try to get pictures of everything at the time of install, and will post if it goes smooth or takes some fabrication.
