B7 2.0T FSI quattro - slipping tranny - 'load signal' error
Tranny (normal 6 speed auto, not CVT) slips in forward and reverse.
Only code in tranny module:
006231 - Load Signal P1857 - 001 - Error Message from ECU
Ditto ABS module:
18265 - Load Signal P1857 - 000 - Error Message from ECU
ECU has plenty of codes (just got the car, need to work through them), but only one I can see that is related is the MAF code:
000256 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70) P0100 - 004 - Supply Voltage
Is it possible that the MAF code is causing the tranny to slip?
I have seen bad (or unplugged) MAF bringing on ESP, traction control light and similar, but haven't had it outright slipping and barely moving.
For the record, here are the other engine codes:
008852 - Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve (N276) P2294 - 004 - Open Circuit
001092 - EVAP Purge Control Valve (N80) P0444 - 004 - Circuit Open
000582 - Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75) P0246 - 001 - Short to Plus
000053 - Turbocharger Bypass Valve Control Circuit P0035 - 001 - High
005493 - Right Engine Mount Solenoid Valve (N145) P1575 - 001 - Short to Plus
008759 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1 P2237 - 001 - Pump Current Open Circuit
012555 - Low Pressure Fuel regulation P310B - 004 - Fuel Pressure Outside Specification
Only code in tranny module:
006231 - Load Signal P1857 - 001 - Error Message from ECU
Ditto ABS module:
18265 - Load Signal P1857 - 000 - Error Message from ECU

Did you find a fix? My audi b7 2.0t tip is acting similar.

I am having similar issues in A4 2.0t. Have replaced everything on prior list. Had all the codes am now down to just 18265-000(2/2 intermittent). Any results or info would be appreciated as I'm unable to afford mechanic I'm doing all myself.
