B8 can't come at a better time.
My best friend just picked up a new 328i with sport package. I am liking it a lot. But I won't ever go for a BMW due to the interiors. I hope the B8 continues Audi's role in being the industry leader. I really want the B8 to be my next ride. What looks promising is out of the MBZ, BMW, Lexus, and Infiniti entries, the A4 will have the freshest, latest design when its released in 2008.

agreed, I am intrigued by the power of the new 3-series cars, esp 335i
but the interiors are not well laid out or attractive...plus, there won't be a 335Xi Wagon, AFAIK (at least in the US)

The way I look at it... Audi has the better overall environment. BMW has the sportier dynamics.
Another thing that has turned me off with BMW's are the people who drive them. I am going to be sure to harass my friend on this one. <g>

I've been actually entertaining the idea of a 1-series as a commuter
Basically the 130 will have the same engine as the 335i, just lighter.. so, for a car that will be in the $30K ball-park doing 5.1 S.. it's very attractive, the problem is that KIA reminder on the outside.
Now.. I just saw some renderings of the B8 A4 that literally changed my whole perspective about the bimmer. Perhaps won't have as much power, but it won't look as a Kia either.
