Buying out our lease
My husband is buying our '08 A4 SE. Audi gave a buy out price of about $20,538.23. Includes taxes, title and reg.
For financing, Audi's rate is 4.59%, but we applied at our credit union where their rate is 4.49% and maybe less since we will do auto pay.
I haven't shopped around with rates too much. I was going to check with AAA and call the dealership directly to see if I get better rates.
Is this a good price/rate? Is the buy out price negotiable?
Thanks

AAA has great rates right now for members "starting at 2.49% APR" for 60 month loan or less.
I got one from them in Oct 2010 and it was close to this...more towards 3% I believe.

We ended up getting 3.49% though our credit union bank. So I feel that was a good deal. The price for the car after taxes was around $19,991.00. From what I saw on pricing for this car, I think we got a pretty good deal
