Car shipping recomendations?

Open or closed transport?
There's a few that I know of... I'll have to dig up the info but there were lots of info about the closed shippers on the nsx boards since those guys ship their cars across the US all the time. Only prob is you're paying around double the price of open transport. Example: we've shipped a car from So Cal to the East Coast by both closed and open transport. Open cost us around $900 and the closed was about $2100. Both methods insured but that's about the rates you should see (maybe a little less, all depends on the zip codes).
IMO, if you're transporting an A4, just go open transport as it's still pretty well protected when on the trailer. If you're transporting an exotic or $100K+ car, and you have the cash to burn, then go closed.

Re: Open or closed transport?
It is a 911 T with 30K on it. My other car is an A4 2.0 (and I am getting rid of a Boxster S if anyone wants one)
I am undecided on open or closed. Closed obviously better but the car has 30k miles on it so it's not like it's mint or anything.
Let me know what you find and I will start making calls-
