Carfax says 'Inconsistent Odometer Reading'
I found a car for $22,879. It's a 2006 A4....."A4 2.0T Quattro * Has Warranty! * 2006 Audi A4 2.0T Auto Quattro: Brilliant Black with Beige Interior. Equipped with Audi DVD Navigation, Technology Package-Bluetooth, Sunroof Package and Premium Package......"
It's at DCH Millburn Audi. Stock# EVP7300
Carfax say there may havd been an odometer rollback. I can call the dealer and see what they say, but this is the first time I ever dealt with this type of issue.
Should I inquire or run away?<ul><li><a href="http://www.dchmillburnaudi.com/used_vehicle_details.htm?vehicleId=5fad86744046381 e002219b42ed66066&url=&video=true&%3fv ehicleId=5fad86744046381e002219b42ed66066">Audi A4</a></li></ul>

run away...plenty of 2.0T B7s out there
Price seems too good to be true. Is it a CPO? Not sure how it can still be under warranty with odometer fraud. Its also odd that someone took ownership for 8 days. Walk-away. Check out Mendham Audi/Audi of Bernardsville.

Plenty, yes....but not for that price...
A car with the packages it has is a lot more. Probably $26-28k. I know I shouldn't take the chance....Trying to save a few dollars might bite me in the butt....

ivestigate. Carfax shows odometer tampering on my TT and its complete BULL!
The reason it comes up on the TT is because its a company car and we didn't bother reporting the mileage every year when renewing the plates. If the dealership has all the paperwork and it checks out, then there is no problem.

Looks like a clerical error to me
Looks like the 21,702 reading was incorrectly entered when the car was returned to the dealer. The reading was then corrected to 41,703. I can see someone writing "4" that looks like a "2" to someone else.
I would call the dealer to clarify.
I would call the dealer to clarify.
