Carport won't recognise my Radio / Satnav :(

Carport won't recognise my Radio / Satnav :(
Hi guys 
I am getting the following message...
The satnav disk is definitely in there as I can see it and the disk is spinning so I'm guessing either the disk or CD laser is faulty? Now I tried to unlock the drive with Carport so that I could eject the disk and try another but I'm getting the following:
It just won't recognise the Radio/Nav unit...Carport is definitely working as I've checked it on another car
Any ideas why it won't talk to the Radio?
