ceramic brakes

ceramic brakes
has anyone put ceramics on their stock b7's yet? I've been thinking about it, but there are so many companies and so many complaints about squeaking, anyone with experience please let me know, thanks.

Re: ceramic brakes
If you're doing city/highway driving, don't bother. Cermaic brakes don't become effective until they heat up and they do squeak quite a bit.
If you'relooking upgrading your brakes I'd look at something else like Stoptechs for example.

so carbotech bobcats are the way to go, I have asked a few people and they all say that they squeak like crazy and thats not what i want. Also, many have said that your braking distance is compromised b/c the ceramics aren't as good as oem but it's hard to know who to listen to. Basically, I want reduced brake dust, no compromise (if not improvement) in braking and no squeaks. I guess I want it all...
