ceramic brakes
anyone have experience with ceramic brakes on the 2.0T? I am thinking about upgrading when i need new ones, but am hesitant right now for one reason: I've heard that they squeak quite a bit till they have sufficiently heated up, and since i do mostly city driving, the last thing i need is loud brakes. but i would love to get rid of all the brake dust i currently have.
thoughts?

Love my Carbotech Bobcats
The dust is virtually eliminated compared to the stock pads.
I hear a peep from them once in a while under light pressure, but it's very infrequent and hardly noticeable.
The pads feel great, the initial bite is good, slightly less than stock which I love. I thought the stock pads have an overexaggerated initial bite, with nothing afterwards.
The Bobcats have a good bite, but continue with a very good linear feel.
Lubricating the sliders and the pads will go a long way in helping to make sure any pad you use stays quiet. The stock pads I removed had lubricant on the mounting "ears" of the pads, where they sit on the pad carriers. It was a copper based lubricant. I put a similar brake pad grease on the ears on the Bobcats upon reassembly with the new pads.
