Check engine light after oil change @ Midas
I have a 2008 a4. I took my car to Midas for an oil change. They used Valvoline 5W30 Full synthetic. After the change, the next day, my check engine light came on and now the engine even shakes a little. Any feedback would be appreciated.

You may get more accurate help if you will post this again on the proper channel. This is Discussion forum for the B5 Audi A4 produced from 1995-2001

Assuming there was nothing else wrong before the oil change it sounds like you have a vacuum leak.
Check they put the oil filler cap back on tight, also check around the area for vacuum hoses that might have been inadvertently damaged while they where in the area or removing/reinstalling the engine covers.

You know I now realize I am the one who was wrong. You posted correctly on the B7 forum. I have never knowingly gone onto the B7 forum and when I saw your post I was thinking I was on the B5 forum and I was seeing your post on the B5 forum. My mistake, not yours.

Guys know a lot of stuff around here, it's just a matter of finding out what happened when they replaced the oil and it could be a number of things, they could've left the drain plug loose and you lost oil, or left the oil cap loose, or they didn't install the filter properly, or even they popped a vacuum hose in the process, so there could be a number of things.
Did you check the oil level after the light came on? When they scanned it and it showed O2 sensor, they probably overfilled it with oil and it made the O2 sensor wet and threw the code, I mean it could be many things.
I personally would never take my car to one of these places to change my oil, but that's just me. I never trust these drive thru oil change places. I don't know but most of those technicians there have very limited knowledge about cars, especially Audi's.
Good luck,
