I am going over my new (to me) 08 B7 and replaced the spark plugs last night. I noticed that my coil packs were revision D, and I know that the current revision is F...(they skipped E for some reason).

Is there any great advance to revision F that I would want to upgrade those? They test out just fine otherwise.

They did not skip version E, that is the stock Hitachi coils that were used on the B5 2000 A4 1.8t. This is why on the push down coils they had to skip the letter E since it had already been used on a bolt down coil.
