Considerations- BMW 335i , Audi A4 2.0 or Audi S4
My current B6 A4 runs the GT28rs and I'm happy with the 300+ HP. However, I drive 40+K per year and already have 115k on the clock.
A stk BMW 335i will dust a chipped A4. Then with a chipped/exhaust 335i I have seen in the 370-380 HP range. All at a price.
However, a big turbo set up, (soon to come) for the 2.0 should produce around 350 HP, (from what I have seen). Will be able to buy car for less, (used) but will have the expense of the mods, (which in this case will be somewhat expensive).
The S4 seems lethargic compared to my B6. Expensive and the gas mileage is not impressive at all, (plus it's too heavy).
Let me know your opinions regarding.

I would get a stock high performing car before doing a BT on a 2.0FSI...
due only to warranty concerns and a much higher likelihood you will grenade a 10 grand motor running 360chp or more. Not to mention the tranny and it would be immoral to try and get Audi to cover something like that. I'd rather add an LSD to the 335i and call it a day. The S4 is a fat pig that sucks up gas.

Leaning on those lines...
Hi Mike- I like your thinking.
After watching a bunch of videos on your tube of people running the 335i, hard, I was impressed with the chip and exhaust that was added, (nice sound too).
Other considerations are to get an A4 and do a chip and exhaust and leave alone or an A6.

Re: The 2.0 doesn't belong in that list, IMHO
Which leads me to my point. Why doesn't Audi put a cost effective 300+ HP motor that is a 4cyl turbo or 6 cyl, (turbo or natural).
I don't want a heavy, expensive, thirsty V8.
Accura, Lexus, Infiniti, Mazda, Volvo, Subies, BMW, (and the list goes on) offers 4 or 6 cyl power plants that produce more then the 3.2, (and are much more cost effective).
Personally, a 315 Hp High Output 4 cyl would do me right, (and it should be no more then 5k over the 2.0 A4) aswhat BMW charges from the 330i to 335i.

I'll be waiting... Hopefully I will be surprised. If not, I just may
do another 1.8t with bt set up. I was looking at your site and the times of what the 1.8t's, (similar set up to what I have) running in the high 12's in the qtr.

audi should give 3.2 300hp at least or bring back maintance package
I mean damn Audi, even honda 08 accord will have 270hp, can we just can 300hp factory on 2.0 or 3.2
rumor has it b8 3.2 will have less than 270hp
I would get the 335 if it was FWD... but can't reach dat now
I will be picking my baby in two weeks 08 a4 2.0

Yeah, I agree. I miss my 1.8t. Fun cars. I think 13s should be the norm no problem...
for regular drivers. Considering the B6 S4 cars run 14s all the time, that's plenty quick.
