Yestersay I was driving my 2006 A4 Quattro 2.0 Turbo 6 speed manual and while I was shifting gears, I heard a snap then shifter would not go into gear, clutch pedal sank to the floor. I tried pumping the clutch, nothing happened. Noticed if I held the clutch down and I tried to put it in gear, from a stop, it would slowly grab. Got the car moving, floated the gears to get home. Half way home clutch popped back up to the normal spot. I pressed the clutch, and now nothing happens at all. Feels like a ball behind the clutch. It won’t let me push clutch in all the way like it should normally. It stops a few inches away from where it should. No slipping in clutch while driving. Just can’t use clutch while shifting.
