Default de-badging a used car

So I am a total noob to the forums, but I recently picked up a '07 2.0t w/ 28k miles and am beginning the process of making it mine. I would like to remove the A4, 2.0T, and quattro badges from teh trunk, but wonder if the paint will look terrible where they were removed since it is a used car. Does anyone have any experience de-bading a 2+ year old car? Also if the paint color matters it is deep sea blue metallic? Thanks for any input.

Here is a how-to. Detail shops also might be able to do this for you. They have all the polishing gear to make sure there is no residue left from the adhesive used to stick on the badges.

I have an '06 A4 2.0T. 43k miles. Ocean Blue Metallic.
I want to add the trunk lip spoiler but get an aftermarket one instead of the dealer one. Any supplier that anyone would reccomend?

Some folks believe it looks "cleaner" without any badges bu I'm not one of them.

For whatever reason, it seems to be very popular, in Germany. Probably about 1/4th of the Audis, BMWs, and Mercs I saw were sans model number badges. Someone I asked (maybe at the Oettinger factory store) said you can even order them that way.

I've considered doing a total debadge. Good to hear the paint doesn't fade.
