Doesn't it matter to get ECU chipping before fully break-in?
Hi, Everybody.
I'm totally newbie here. I'm just considering
to get ECU chipping for my B7 2.0tQ.
My concern is that doesnt'matter to do this
before fully break-in because my car has still
under 5k miles on it.

Nope, the only thing that matters...
The only thing that matters is that you make sure your Audi dealer flashes your car with the new code first. Audi released a new program and has been flashing vehicles the next time they come in for maintenance. This flashing erases your performance code and you have to then have it reflashed by your ARP/Giac/etc guys.
I'm bringing mine in for the 5K maintenance tomorrow and then on Friday I'm off to get chipped (and save $150 on the APR sale going on on Friday and Monday only!!!) If it were not for the dumb upgraded code from Audi, and the sale from APR this weekend, I would have flashed my new A4 at less then 1000 miles.
I have chipped my previous 1.8T Passat(s) with as little as 500 miles on them and _never_ had a problem.
Hope this helps.
