Default Dolphin or Quartz Gray with Beige Interior

I'm a Saab 95 driver that can't wait to get in a new A4, all that's left is a color.

The new brochure shows that Dolphin Grey and Quartz both can come with beige, a color scheme I had on a Saab 900 16 years ago and loved it.

The Audi website doesn't allow this combo.

Anybody seen it? Got a photo?

Thanks

My car history:

I'm on my second Saab 95 (2002) and unlike the first, a 98, it's junk and Saab has lost me as a customer for ever. Too bad too, I had a 91 900 turbo hatch that was a blast, it was a fun brand for a while there.

Had a used 1993 Audi 90, solid, but not as fun as I had hoped. The 2006 A4 is trulty an amazing car.

Default imho beige works best with black, dark blue, red, white, and a few other colors, but....

with a silver or dolphin exterior i would absolutely only go with black interior. That's just me though

Default yeah as for trims....

beige = wood
black = aluminum
silver = aluminum / carbon fiber / wood

I really don't like aluminum on beige at all... nor do I like wood on black.

Right now I have beige/wood, but my next car will have black interior so it'll be aluninum trim

Default Re: Dolphin or Quartz Gray with Beige Interior

I am one of the few who would do beige in the grey or silver car. It's a luxury statement, not a sport statement. (I know I am in the minority on that.) But to reference your inquiry, beige interiors are pretty rare, period. You might find beige on white, red, black, or dark blue cars. But I highly doubt you'll see one in Dolphin or Quartz. Audi offered such a combo in 2002, and took it away pretty quickly. I think it came back for 2005.5, but it's not listed anymore.

Dolphin with black interior. Black look so much better, but easier to clean, classier

Default I have beige/vavona birch wood with Moro Blue......

looks great, but dark Blue is as hard to keep clean as black! I wanted beige with Quartz as well but is not available.

Default I have Quartz/Platinum

I chose it because the gray is pretty light, and it makes the car seem bigger inside (to me anyway). The downside might be that it shows everything, but mine gets light use with just me in it 90% of the time. I use the Audi heavy rubber mats in winter, and in the summer I use the Audi embroidered mats, Scotchguarded, or the factory mats if I know it's going to be nasty.

Mine has aluminum trim, which I like a lot.

Good luck!

Default Grray with beige doesn't look right, to my eye

I've seen cars (not Audis) with silver/gray exterior and beige interior. I don't care for it, but different strokes of course.

I just took delivery of a Quartz with platinum interior. It's a nice combo, IMO. The seats are a light gray, and the dash/door panels are a gray/putty kind of color that I think is really attractive. You might like it too. It looks good with the dark wood trim of the 3.2, but I don't think it would go too well with the aluminum trim of a 2.0T.

Happy hunting...
