ECS Tuning issues?

ECS Tuning issues?
I have had 3 major issues with ECS parts in the past 10 years. The biggest was when they sent me a defective clutch kit which they replaced but since I had supplied the parts to my mechanic cost me an additional $700 in labor to pull the tranny a 2nd time.
This most recent issue, they sent a part (coolant flange) that was 3" wide stuffed in a 2" wide box. I inspected the part and saw no damage but after the part was installed by my mechanic with a cost of $150 they noticed a leak and traced it back to a hairline crack in the part. Since I provided the part they made me pay another $150 in labor/coolant and $50 for the proper part.
Furthermore the VW logo on the part is melted off (2nd pic attached) which I am told by my mechanic is common with factory rejected parts that are sold to 3rd parties as having a cosmetic defect. Obviously this defect was not only cosmetic. I feel one of these factors resulted in a damaged part that ended up costing me an additional $200.This is now the 3rd time bad parts provided by ECS caused me to spend more time and money than what was needed. Their policy is not to reimburse for labor, but to send a replacement part.
Am I the only one that has experienced these problems with ECS? Is there a better place to go (other than the dealer) for my Audi parts?
