Default Found something annoying (door related)

Is it just me, or is it really annoying that you can still open the door from the inside even when it's "locked"? Noticed this tonight. Is this something that can be fixed with the VAG? I'd really only like to be able to open the door when it is unlocked

thanks

adam

Default you have to pull the handle twice to open the door

how is that any different than pushing an unlock button and pulling the handle once?

Default If it hasn't changed from the B6 to B7...

then you won't be able to open the door if it's really locked. Locked means that you used the remote or key from the outside and wait a couple of minutes. If you did either of both you won't be able to unlock the door from the inside. If the doors got locked form the inside or when driving faster than 10mph then the doors are only locked fromt the outside.

I actually like the feature. You or you passenger doesn't have to search for the unlock button.

Default The first pull opens the door on my B7. My B6 used to take two pulls.

That always confused passengers who tried to get out of the car before the doors were unlocked. They would pull once and look at me with a look like "I'm trapped, now what?"

Default Re: The first pull opens the door on my B7. My B6 used to take two pulls.

so if the car is moving at over 10 mph you can't open the door?

we noticed it last night while stationary...only took one pull to open the door, despite the door being locked (red indicator on door was lit)
