Front seat backs damaged by child restraint hooks
The rear seat backs of my Avant were damaged by the restraint hooks that protrude from the top of the rear seats. When the rear seats are forward, you have to be careful about moving the front seats back or the hooks puncture the backs of the front seats.
I consider this a design flaw. My mother's Honda has covers over those hooks.
Any tips on how to get AoA, or specifically my dealer as AoA said I needed to go through them, to replace the seat backs?
Anyone else experience this?
I could live with the damage, but I'm about to trade in the car and I do not want to have to cough up hundreds of dollars to make the repairs or have it taken out of my trade-in.
Thanks,
Jay
