FYI: Certified Pre-owned (CPO) no longer transferable
I spoke with the Audi USA customer service and CPO warranties issued from August 2006 (possibly earlier) are no longer transferable.
The warranty will cover the original purchaser of the CPO vehicle only. If the vehicle is sold during the warranty period it can not be transfered to the purchaser.
Check with Audi about transfer if you are considering purchase of a CPO'd car from a private seller.
