Getting a new 2.0T, but need help with this dilemma.
Sorry if this sounds whiny, but writing this down may help me decide.
I am ditching my AWESOME R32 and getting a 2.0T for three reasons, order of importance:
1. Need a car to develop a Penske kit.
2. Need 4 doors for my new baby girl, when she is traveling with me.
3. Would like to reduce my $500/mo. payment
Audi is offering a great lease deal on the A4, which I REALLY want to take advantage of. The deal may or may not continue into December and later. This would have been easy - go to a dealer and buy a car... but I do not fit in it with the sunroof. I can get a car w/o a sunroof, but it also means NO options (none, nada, zero). I can also get a car with a sunroof, and cut some foam out of the seat... results may vary, cost about $300 plus some risk.... not sure, but doable.
So my oprions (in order of my current preference, this changes hourly):
1. Get the stripped A4 2.0T Quattro (Silver - acceptable but not 1st option) - get lease deal.
2. Get a loaded A4 off a lot (Nav and S-line) - get lease deal pay about the same as R32.
3. Order a car loaded with a sunroof delete - wait 3 months and take a chance on the lease deal.
4. Keep R32
Thoughts or suggestions?

um, if the dealer takes the order as a sold order, you
can lock in the current lease program. I have done that, and then if htere is a better lease program at the time of delivery, you can opt for that or finance.
They required 3k to order the car. That didn't bother me.
So, order what you want, and wait for the right car, and the payments will be what you want.

Hmm, I asked for exactly that, and they said that they can not do that... I will call Audi and ask.
Anyone have the number for Audi Customer Relations? Thanks for the idea.

I dont know if that's how it works with the current program
according to Audi, it says you have to take delivery by November 30 - Id get something in writing from AOA if they say they would allow it

Get the loaded one.
If you are anything like me (or most people for that fact), then you will not be happy with the stripped one, and you may miss out on the lease deal on the orderd one.
How tall are you anyway?

this is a fairly new "rule" they put in place.
the sales manager is the one who set me up with it. As long as the car is a "sold order" you will be able to take the lease program when the car is delivered.
I actually want a 36 month lease. 24 is too short. Would rather have the low interest rate financing for a longer period of time.

Damn! You are only 6 inches tall? :-) Couldn't resist.
I know what you are saying. My brother is 6'9" tall and has trouble fitting in most cars.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

Option 3. Get exactly what you want and would be happy with AFTER the WOW effect fades a little you will still be happy with the purchase. Don't get a A4 just because get what you want color and all amenities and you will enjoy. Life is Short.
Get the most out of it now.
