Default Awesome. Can you get some data logs of channel 20 and 31...

and bless us with 1/4 mile times too? Very exciting. Hopefully we can start seeing some hard data on these chips. cheers! Mike

Default Let me see what I can do...

I'll request data logs.

As for 1/4 mile times...well...I haven't been to the track in ages. I know comin out of the hole is going to be a pain with FT. But I'll see what I can do. Only thing I'm scared of is if our clutch will hold up.

Speakin of launches. When I had my Quattro, I noticed the clutch to be pretty pathetic. You can't load it up and build boost coming out of the hole as the clutch wouldn't hold. Too bad. I bet with an upgraded clutch, you could basically spool up the turbo and come out with at least a few psi of boost.

Default It seems this clutch may be a bit better...

We'll se shortly. If I need a better one than that's in the budget as a "probably will need" at this point. I suck at launching the quattro anyways. Between me bogging it down and you trying not to spin the wheels, it will be the blind leading the blind

At the very least i'd get an a/f reading and timing if you can. Always want to make sure it's running safe.

cheers! mike

Default Nothing has been officially announced

I spoke to my local dealer as I have been pestering him about getting me a Beta version...and he spoke to them today and the files were no longer available. Which means testing is done...so they are hoping to have it by the first week of Nov.

Regardless...I'm not going off of posted numbers, anyway. Anyone can skew numbers...

Default GIAC numbers are listed here...

http://www.awe-tuning.com/media/dynosheets/b7_a4_awe_exhaust.jpg

The base numbers are with the chip and the change in the graph is with the exhaust. Looks to be around 251hp/293tq.
