You can chip a cvt, but why spend more on a car, then spend more again on it to make it still slower than a 6spd stock.

and his tranny fell off on the freeway and he didn't realize it for almost 5 Miles!!! Good Luck

I heard that this one dude chipped his CVT and not only did his tranny fail, but his dad, his brother, and the dude who was sleeping with his girlfriend's cars all suffered failed transmissions too. Even worse, all were denied coverage under warranty, except his girlfriend, who also slept with the guy at her dealership.

Bottom line, if you chip your CVT, your girlfriend is probably cheating on you.

I heard if you chip a CVT, it will still be slower than a TIP, stock. Actually someone K04'd a cvt.

I have a chipped CVT for 10K now and it holds pretty strong.

If you think your stock 6spd/TIP is faster then a CVT chipped think again. I'm pretty sure even if yo're chipped I still beat you...
