Default Has anyone ever had problems with their gas gage?

I filled my car up on Saturday, the needle stayed at the full line all weekend (50+ miles) until this morning when I was backing out of my driveway it drastically, within seconds while in reverse went minus a quarter tank.
I noticed my center display wouldn't change either after filling up. It kept saying I had 290 miles left in my tank no mater how hard I drove the car. It as well changed this morning at the same time. I realize it fluctuates depending on how spirited of a mood I'm in, but it didn't.

Maybe I'm off my rocker. I checked the forums and couldn't find anything.

I drive a 2007 A4 2.0

Default Yeah... as I drive the gauge slowly drops- After a few hundred miles, I have to add fuel.

Honestly... I have not seen that issue in the audis... I heard of it in VWs before.

Default I didn't..

I just dropped it off at the dealership to have it and some other problems looked at. I doubt they can reproduce the problem. But if it happens again I'll try your advice, thanks.

Default My gauge does not go all the way over, despite being full.

It will stop just in front of the F despite having a full tank.

Default Yeah

Obviously it does that when you have a full tank.
I'm not concerned about it any more.
