at the end of the e-brake handle attaches to the handle mechanism? the e-brake button on my b6 is messed up big time, but you can't buy it separately from the handle. it can however be bought for the b6. i need nothing more than the button!

Default was that on a b7 or b6? it looks like a b6....

i can take off the handle on my b6, but the problem is that the silver button, shown in the pictures in the link above, is all scratched up on my car. unfortunately, it is not available as a separate part on the b6, but looks to be on the b7...so, is the b6/b7 button the same?

if it is, i could just order a b7 button assembly, and transfer the tip to mine!
