Default Has anyone who ordered their car tried to get carbon fiber trim??

I've heard of special color cars for extra so I'm sure you can get carbon fiber trim for a price.

Default Tried ordering wood trim on my 2.0T S-Line and they seriously rejected me.

Did order custom color on my old B6 S4, cost $2200.

Default I was just told by my dealer it would be $900 extra to do a non-standard wood color.

This would be for a non-S-Line.

Is that $900 over the normal $400 charge for wood or just $900?

It's the 400 plus 900 extra for a total of 1300.

Default my dad got it....not positive on the price

that he paid. hes not a fan of the wood trim....both aluminum trim and cf trim were extra, so he went with the cf. he has cf on his current b6 and it looks pretty sweet.

as for what sfv said, ive seen a car at my dealer with cf and it was ~900 but from my understanding that was it, i didnt think there was any additional 400. thats definitely something to look into.

one last note if the cf is a kit that goes over existing trim pieces, the piece that covers the change/ash tray compartment will most likely scratch over time because the cf trim rubs when you open/close the compartment (not positive of the design on the b7 but thats how it is on my dads b6)
