Default heated seats not working

According to the owners manual, the heated seats on the 2008 A4 has a light that comes on each number level when turned on. Mine have no light coming on, other than when headlights are on and all controls light up. The fuse is ok. Before I bring to dealers attention, is there something I'm missing?

Default Does your butt get warm?

If so, it sounds like they are working fine. The lights on the switch only come on when the other controls are lighted.

it works if its one, but that's not what I'm asking. According to owners manual, the numbered digits should come on when its activated so you Know its on and at what level.
