Just bought Audi A4 front wheel drive 2.0 Turbo from dealer in northern nj. Owned it 2 weeks when driving it started smoking, shaking, and would not accelerate. Waited 30 minutes for it to cool down and restarted but rough idle stalled. Tried starting it the next morning idled roughly. Towed to dealer who could find no problem with it. Said running fine except first time it started smoky. Any thoughts?

Did you get any CEL's and if so what were the codes. What kind of smoke did you get , white , black or blue. Did it smell like antifreeze or oil. Does the AC still work. Just need a little more info.

messages then were to check oil pressure and coolant, no warning lights 1/2 hour later though car still stalled. It was night and a light rain, can't tell color of smoke, not sure of type of smell. Dealer still has car so can't test ac.

Only warranty is NJ law for 30 day/1000 mile on powertrain. Car is within both of these limits

thats y u should have a vag com so u can read the faults in the sys,Dealer
can tell u anything and say its not covered,its a 2.0L,how many miles on it? it could be a crank case hose,or tubo,have the coil packs been done?
u have vin # for the audi,i could look it up and see what has been done
