Default HELP!!!! Diagnosis this problem.

So I have an issue that I need help with.
My 2005.5 2.0 turbo is having an issue with dying out. The car will run with what seems to be a little misfire...At least if I push it hard. Anyways, what will happen is it runs and idles fine and then just dies out. After it dies the car becomes to start. In fact it won't start at all... Meaning it will turn but not fire. But if it sits for a while... Like over night.... It will start up… let it sit for a few minutes and it will start to turn and fire but not catch. The fuel pump in the rear sounds to be buzzing once the key is turned. It does stop after maybe 30 seconds.
But like I said, once it does turn over , fire, catch, and run... It does so fine... Just with a little misfire.

The codes I was able to get off my ELM327 and a my Torque and Carista app on my phone are:
P0089
P0304

If any one could please help me diagnosis this problem and tell me where the issue is and maybe how to fix it.
Thank you so much

The 0089 code is for a fuel pressure regulator, and 0304 code is for your #4 (Rear) cylinder misfire. The first thing I'd look at or replace is the fuel filter. If that has a blockage it may cause rough running or some of your other fuel/cylinder issues. They're $25 for an aftermarket or $50 for the genuine Audi part from ECS tuning.

I did mine last year it's super easy to do in about an hour with some ramps to drive up on or jack stands. The filter is located underside the frame on the drivers side. Start with that and see if it fixed the rest of the issues. ECS has them in the 40k service kit, but I did mine at 75k without any issues.

Good luck!

I have similar but not as severe issues, only a p0089 code. The fuel filter and LPFP have been replaced within the past year. (2005.5 A4 2.0T, 72,000 miles). My next step is trying to replace the cam follower if I can get the banjo bolt off the bottom of the HPFP, and also give the HPFP a thorough cleaning and new o-ring. If that works I'll post that here.
