Hi,

I just picked up my 2006 2.0TqMT6 today. Whoo-hoo!

I had a question regarding the Driver Information Display (DID). The phot in the brochure and the diagrams in the owner's manual have the DID appearing like a colored LCD style screen. My DID, however, appears more like LEDs. My car has both the Premium Package and the Sunroof Package.

What should the DID look like?

Either as a stand alone option , or with the technology package.

This is odd. The car's window sticker states:

Premium Package-
Homelink (R) Remote Transmitter
Auto-Dimming Interior Mirror W/Compass
Auto Dimming & Elect. Folding Ext. Mirrors
Rain Sensor
Heated Front Seats
Power Passenger Seat
17" Ally Wheels W? All-Season Tires

The brochure I picked up at the dealer titled "The all-new Audi A4 and S4" (C-A4-05-008US) states on page 43:

Premium package
(A4 2.0 T sedan and Avant models)
Home-Link transmitter
Power passenger seat
Leather seating surface
Power glass sunroof
Color Driver Information Display with trip computer including outside temperature gauge

Has Audi changed the contents of the Premium Package?

Yes - you are quite right. The information on Audi's web site (URL below) contradicts the sales brochure I have but is consistent with the window sticker.

Just bought a 2006 A4 6MT fully loaded with everything BUT NAV and I have the color computer. The earlier poster was right. You need the technology package to get the color...

Ah yes. The Tech. Package doesn't include the NAV. I was thinking of the A6.
