Hello All,

My 2008 A4 B7 with 125,000 miles on it is driving me nuts. When driving it works fine. No loss of power and mpg are normal. It started making a noise and it would shake when at a stop while in drive with the foot on the brake. Now it is doing the same cycling shake/sputter while in park. So far, no CEL. Here is a video from yesterday. You can hear the rough cycling noise at the 3 sec, 10 sec, 17 sec, and 23 sec marks. Where to start...a vacuum leak, bad pressure control valve, ignition coils?

Same here. I saw serpentine belt tensioner is a little weak, ill replace and update if that fix my issue.

Hi, just wanted to give an update. Two weeks after posting this, my battery was dying so I replaced it. I also replaced the PCV (DIY job, part was $50). After those two things were fixed, I have not had any shaking/sputtering!

Hope you get your issue fixed.

P.S. I also replaced my the High Pressure Fuel Pump Cam Follower but I don't think it was needed since mine was in good condition. You can look on YouTube they will have videos on it.
